Sustainability has become a very significant issue for us at Nelson Mandela School. We are helping our children to learn and understand our impact on the planet and aim to be models of good practice demonstrating sustainable living and working. At Nelson Mandela we are all working hard towards the government 2020 target of becoming a sustainable school through our curriculum topics, focus days, competitions, our school eco-council and energy use monitors and through gaining as many awards to represent our progress as we can!
